Bigg Boss Telugu, 9th August 2017,episode 25 update: Archana praises Kalpana for her sportive spirit

Contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu wake up grooving to the title song of Nani’s latest hit, ‘Nenu Local’, signalling the start of day 24 in the house.
While Mumait Khan and Kathi Mahesh kick off the day by discussing the happenings of the previous day, Kalpana supports Siva Balaji’s decision in switching over to lemon tea from milk tea due to limited quantity of milk.
Back in the kitchen, Archana raises questions about Kalpana wanting to take credit for everything that happens in the house. She is seconded by the rest and Mumait opines that Kalpana pokes her nose in every case.
Kalpana later accuses Kathi Mahesh of displaying favouritism publicly. She takes the example of Hari Teja while making her point, which obviously irks him. She immediately retorts, telling Kalpana that she can talk to people straightforward but not to include her name in the conversation.
Meanwhile, Archana and Dhanraj talk about Kalpana making an issue out of everything. Later, Archana cleans the swimming pool as Mumait, Hari Teja and Siva Balaji indulge in some fun talk. Mumait requests Bigg Boss to send a guy into the house, who is over 30 and unmarried. As Hari Teja and Archana offer to her their husband and boyfriend respectively, Mumait jocularly says that she wants an ‘unused’ guy, making the rest of them laugh out loud.
On the other hand, Adarsh and Kartheeka discuss Siva Balaji’s reaction to incidents and how he is raking up personal issues, unlike them.
By afternoon, Bigg Boss summons the inmates to the lobby area and expresses displeasure over the inmates’ performance in the luxury budget task. He also ridicules Kathi Mahesh for his negligence in conducting the task and asks the contestants to name the worst four participants.
After long deliberation, when Prince names Kathi Mahesh, Dhanraj, Adarsh and Mumait as the worst performers of the task, the rest of the teammates show solidarity. For not living up to expectations, Bigg Boss asks the four to wash a tub full of clothes and polish shoes.
Mumait and Dhanraj polish shoes as Adarsh and Mahesh do the laundry. All through the punishment, the team mates wonder what the future might hold if they continue to play the game sportingly.
Archana, Mumaith, Kartheeka, Kalpana and others get down to talking about how they are reading between the lines as far as Bigg Boss’ orders are concered, and decide that they should start taking things easily. Prince, too, feels that it is like an insult that they are given punishing tasks to make up for their substandard performance.
Impressed with their work, Bigg Boss then asks the winning team of the luxury budget task to pick their favourite items for the week. The item names are written on bone shaped boards, which are to be picked up by mouth as the person is blind folded and is required to drop it in the basket, with the help of another contestant.
As Hari Teja directs, Siva Balaji picks up the choice of products — baby corn, avakaya, ariselu, sakinalu, noodles, cheese fries, chutney powder and brown bread. Siva Balaji is appreciated for this commendable work in picking up the boards.
Kathi Mahesh is relieved from his punishment of not using any comforters to sit, eat or sleep, after three days. Immediately after the announcement, Kathi Mahesh grabs a bean bag and relaxes peacefully.
When Mumait is doing dishes at the kitchen area with Mahesh Kathi looking on, Dhanraj says many would be astonished to know that Mumait does all household chores. Mumait then quips, saying that she was raised in a middle-class family and knows to perform her duties in the house because at the end of the day, she is a girl. “I can do everything except cleaning the washroom,” she says.
Before retiring to bed, when Diksha and Kalpana have a word, Archana arrives. Much to the amusement of the viewers, Archana appreciates Kalpana for her spirit of being nice to everybody despite several accusations and being nominated by the members of the house repeatedly. Kalpana takes it as a genuine compliment.
